Food Preserving Workshops

We are in the process of designing a series of food preserving workshops for September and October. Currently, we are certifying six community trainers through the online PreserveSafe program.

 

Workshop topics to be covered are:

  1. Fermenting

  2. Drying

  3. Canning

  4. Cold Storage and Freezing

Due to the pandemic, we are currently consulting with the Northern Health Authority on a Safety Plan for these events.
